History
Emilio Alal was an immigrant who arrived in Argentina
in 1914 and began his business activity with the leather trade.
As years passed, his children joined the company and the business
grew steadily. By 1960 they had already become the main supplier
and exporter of salted bovine leather from Northern Argentina.
The
progressive spirit of all the members of the family made the
company start in 1966 its industrial activity with a Vegetable
Tannery of bovine leather in Reconquista (Santa Fe). At the
moment is one of the leader companies of South America in its
type, exporting to the world a great variety of products of
excellent quality.
The 70's were a milestone in the history of the Company because
they began the industrial activity in the textile area, with
the setting up of the Cotton Gins Plants in Goya (Corrientes)
and Villa Angela (Chaco), where they permanently carry out investments
that allow the substantial increase in the production capacity.
Later on, they incorporated the agricultural activity, developing
mainly bovine cattle raising and the cultivation of cotton,
both of which have been growing steadily.
In 1994, with the setting up of a modern Cotton Mill (super
carded and open end) in Goya (Corrientes), the company achieved
the vertical integration in the cotton area, process which includes
the sale of seeds and chemical products, the cultivation, the
cotton gins, the cotton fiber commercialization and the cotton
spinning 100% super card and open end.
At the moment the company is carrying out a plan of investments
in all the industrial plants to continue growing and staying
in the vanguard of industrial progress.
Mission
The Company's permanent effort is to offer clients better products
and services, maintaining the best price / quality relationship
and always respecting the agreed commercial terms.
